Sr Manager - Talent Management, Talent Development & HRBP (Plant Workforce)


Location: Worli, Mumbai

5 Days working from Office.

Reporting To: HR Head

Role Overview:

- The role is a strategic HR position responsible for Talent Management, Talent Development, and HR Business Partnering for the plant workforce.


- The incumbent will focus on developing people capabilities, workforce planning, employee engagement, learning & development (L&D), succession planning, and HR operations to support the organization's business objectives.

- This position is crucial in strengthening the talent pipeline, ensuring skill enhancement, and driving cultural transformation while ensuring seamless HR support for plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Management & Succession Planning:

- Drive workforce planning and talent pipeline development for the organization.

- Identify and develop high-potential employees (HiPos) through structured programs.

- Implement succession planning strategies for critical roles within the organization.

- Work closely with department heads to assess skills and competencies, ensuring alignment with business needs.

Talent Development & Learning Initiatives:

- Design and implement technical and behavioral training programs for employees at all levels.

- Collaborate with L&D teams to identify skill gaps and create structured development plans.

- Drive leadership development programs, and initiatives for the key employees.

- Implement on-the-job training (OJT), cross-functional training, and digital learning interventions.

- Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, supervisors, and employees to drive an engaging work culture.

- Implement employee engagement initiatives, grievance handling mechanisms, and workforce well-being programs.

- Ensure smooth execution of HR processes, including performance management, career development, and compensation reviews.

- Act as a point of contact for plant employees, addressing HR-related queries and concerns effectively.

Performance Management & Culture Building:

- Implement the Performance Management System (PMS), ensuring continuous feedback and performance coaching.

- Promote a high-performance work culture by driving competency-based assessments and career progression frameworks.

- Lead initiatives to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence at the plant level.

- Conduct regular employee connects, town halls, and feedback sessions to strengthen employee relations.

Key Requirements:

Education & Experience:

- MBA/MSW/PGDM in HR from a reputed institute.

- 12 - 17 years of HR experience, with a strong background in Talent Management, Learning & Development, and HRBP roles.

- Prior experience in the manufacturing sector is highly preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong expertise in Talent Management, Succession Planning, and Learning & Development.

- Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills.

- Ability to drive employee engagement and performance culture in a plant setup.

- Proficiency in HR analytics, digital HR tools, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
