Senior Manager - Supply Chain Management - FMCG

Role: Sr. Manager Supply chain management international

Looking for a strong candidate with a minimum of 6+ years of experience (Post MBA from Tier1 College) in supply chain management only from the FMCG Industry.

Develop and ensure a robust and cost-effective supplier base (food, packaging and other categories) to support the international business requirements of Company (QSR). The supplier base should ensure supply continuity and food safety at a competitive cost.

Ensure readiness and support streamlined operations of supply chain infrastructure (commissaries, warehousing, and logistics) to support international business requirements.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Identification and development of new suppliers (both international and local) to support business requirement

- Understand business, demand, and food safety requirements and its implications on sourcing and supplier base

- Understand and build category cost models with Cost benchmarking of ingredients in the respective international markets

- Commercial negotiations and contracting

- Manage inflation as per budgeted or targeted levels

- Closely work with planning and logistics team to ensure on-time in full availability of material

- Coordinate with NPD / Marketing to ensure new product launches as per timelines at targeted costs

- Build a strong relationship with suppliers for long term competitive advantage

- Identify value engineering initiatives for cost optimization

- Coordinating, planning and managing the requirements of commissaries, warehousing, and logistics

- Estimate commissary production capacity and warehousing space requirement

- Identify and execute initiatives for commissary cost savings & productivity improvement, and service level improvement to stores

- Coordinate with India commissaries, suppliers and CHA to ensure timely execution of export shipments

- Support SAP (supply chain scope) implementation in the international markets

- Capability development of local execution teams and business partners for smooth commissary and logistics operations

- Work with India and international teams to ensure costs are as per the budget

Stakeholder management:

- Internal - India supply chain team, finance & other teams; International business teams

- External - CHA, Suppliers and others

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

- 8-10 years of experience in Sourcing, category management, supplier development, warehousing, logistics and/or commissary operations. Experience in food service / QSR industry desirable

- Qualification - B.E. and MBA from tier 1 / tier 2 institute

- Detailed understanding and experience of import / export of food items

- Excellent coordination skills - Work with India supply chain and international business teams to meet business requirements

- Excellent communication skills

- Experience in project based environment
