Senior Manager - Supply Chain Finance

Job Description:
- The Senior Manager Procurement Finance will be responsible for establishing strong processes and governance in the procurement function, ensuring effective cost control measures, and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- The Senior Manager Procurement Finance will work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and finance, to drive efficiency, controls and cost optimization across both outsourced manufacturing and in-house operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain robust procurement processes and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to develop inventory control strategies, including forecasting, demand planning, and safety stock management.
- Oversee the purchase order process from initiation to approval, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Implement and maintain a robust purchase order review system, verifying contract terms, pricing, and quantity requirements.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure favourable terms and conditions with suppliers are negotiated optimizing cost savings opportunities.
- Monitor and analyse procurement costs, identifying areas of potential cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cost control initiatives.
- Conduct regular cost variance analyses and provide recommendations to management for cost optimization.
- Monitor supplier performance, conduct periodic reviews, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- MBA/CA with 5 to 12 years of proven experience in procurement finance, supply chain finance, or related roles
- Candidates from manufacturing industry in foods and beverages are preferred
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and purchase order management.
- Solid knowledge of financial analysis, cost control, and budget management principles.
- Proven experience in setting up and maintaining strong governance and control frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to drive change and process improvements.
