About the Role: THIS IS A DIVERSITY-ONLY ROLE
Location: Bangalore/Mumbai
Scope of the Role:
- To provide support for organization initiatives that have strategic, transverse and business impact
- To Evaluate market segments/ sub-segments & identify growth opportunities (organic & inorganic)
- Support in successful deployment of solutions approach & contribute to the Country Strategic Initiatives &, Prescriptions
Expectations of the Role Incumbent:
- Support accelerated profitable growth in targeted verticals
- Be a driver & a support on transformational projects
- Contribute to the India 2025 Strategy
Areas of Responsibility:
1. Growth and Transformation Projects:
- Entry strategy for new products/ geographies. This includes business planning and seamless execution with respective business leaders for their product/geography domain
- Transform performance of existing business through targeted deep-dive initiatives (in Manufacturing, Sales & Marketing and R&D) in addition to finding growth drivers in Services business
- Overtime the incumbent is expected to take over leadership role and thereafter move towards leading either line or staff responsibilities.
2. Preparation & Implementation of Business Cases/ Action:
- Evaluate, Identify, Prepare Business Cases for different segments on the market potential, competition, prospects, etc which includes Information collection & analysis, Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning, Action Plans, Execution
- Control & help in deployment of Business Action Plans to ensure long term accelerated Profitable Growth and Leadership Position
3. Strategic Programs:
Contribute to Business Cases for Strategic Programs through Market Interviews, Customer Interviews, Market Surveys, Internal Brainstorming and then provide/present scenarios to the Steering Committee
Job Related Experience:
- Required: Candidates with knowledge in consulting and Strategy development (growth strategy, entry strategy), Strategy implementation, especially Commercial diligence (CDD) & Valuation
- Acumen in Performance improvement (Business Transformation, Profitability improvement) is preferred
- Knowledge and exposure to Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, B2B, Electrical Industries is Ideal
- Good to have: Certain years of experience in handling a line responsibility (either in Sales/ Mfg. etc.) post engineering, this helps to appreciate operating nuances of business.
Business Understanding:
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Strong ability to visualize, identify & formulate scenarios
- Should be able to identify with stakeholders (internal & external)
- Understanding of market dynamics

- Strong Interpersonal & Communication Skills
