Sr. Manager - Strategy (Strategy & Business Development)

- To augment & strengthen the decision making ability of the Strategy & BD team by capturing & analyzing data and presenting it as useful information

- Must have operational / front end experience [ Sales ; Operations including project management ] of atleast 3-4 years with an overall experience of 10-15 years

- Strong business, micro & macroeconomic acumen

- Candidates with prior Business Analytics/Strategy experience would be preferred

- Analyze market data to identify trends and opportunities

- Develop Strategic Direction/hypothesis from market information and prepare compelling reports/presentations

- Work internally with the Strategy and Business teams to develop and deploy the Annual Strategy planning framework basis learnings from the previous years

- Support the business team in finalizing the 3 year Strategic plan ; Anchor the planning cycle for the relevant Business Unit(s)

- Prepare and deploy the balanced scorecard (BSC) ; Ensure that the framework along with Measures are deployed

- Support the relevant business unit in executing improvement / other business relevant projects like - New market / New product entry / process improvement etc.

- Support for primary and secondary research for all P+L/Business Development research, analysis and synthesis of data from companies, markets, competition, product mix, legislation etc

- Conduct research and develop reports, presentations and other outputs to communicate findings

- Build business P+Ls for new businesses based on assumptions, collaboratively with Finance and Business Development

- Work on problems with diverse scope

- Publish business weekly dashboard and work with business analysts on BCM presentations

- Make recommendations based on findings

- Strongly collaborative, needs to work collaboratively with Finance, BD and Business P+Ls

- Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

- Strong quantitative skills and analytical ability to derive insights

- Can make inferences from complex data
