Core Purpose of the Role:
Governance of strategic IT initiatives execution through effective project and program management.
Specific requirements for this role:
1. Experience: 6 to 8 years of working on diverse technology projects across the complete life cycle of projects/programs
2. Demonstrated Capability:
a. Leading end-to-end technology projects
b. Apply relevant project management approaches (Predictive, Agile, Hybrid).
c. Collaborated with stakeholders at the executive level.
d. Facilitating discussions with cross-functional teams to arrive at overall agreement to problems/ issues.
e. Using project management tools such as Microsoft Project and others.
3. Education:
a. Should be a BE
b. PMP certification preferred
Skills and Capabilities:
- End-to-end project management
- Project management approaches - Predictive, Agile, and Hybrid
- Communication at the executive level.
- Reporting at the executive level.
Role Accountabilities :
- Coordinating the execution of various strategic initiatives and projects.
- Define the objectives, outcome, and key metrics for each project in coordination with the Operating Unit for the project.
- Prepare project plan, with detailed milestones, RACI matrix across the projects and operating units.
- Co-ordinate with work stream leads to prepare milestone project plans for all critical projects and align with Division heads and EC members on the critical paths and timelines.
- Track the implementation of the execution plan and achievement of strategy across divisions and enabling functions in accordance with organizational goals and strategy
- Prepare strategy plan and approach documents on select critical projects if required by closely working with the Workstream leads. Monitor and track the execution of these projects
- Managing key risks by identifying key dependencies, risks and prepare mitigation plan to help with the resolution of these risks.
- Role will involve identifying cross-functional elements of the strategic projects and work collaboratively with the stakeholders to keep the momentum towards execution and timely delivery
- Defining the program governance and manage the Monthly 1-3-5 review meetings with OUs, Divisions and CXOs.
