The Consumer and Components Group (CCG) is actively pursuing a highly motivated, experienced, self-directed candidate that has a proven track record of exceptional collaboration, a strong desire for constant process improvement and a vast understanding of the broader network.

The CCGs Senior Cost Manager selected will be expected to identify and drive CCG related cost initiatives, compile and present CCGs cost status to executives, work with cross functional teams to build out CCGs cost reporting environment, as well as drive the creation of cost related dashboards to enable CCG stakeholders to track the cost of products compared to targets and competitor tear downs. The incumbent will be in the drivers seat for cost reduction, ensuring that the CCG business can exceed targets and meet its profitability goals.

From this role, the candidate selected will have the opportunity to work closely with leadership teams across multiple functions within the company and with leaders also in other business units on a frequent basis. You will have the opportunity to drive meaningful impact for CCG through improvements resulting from cost reduction initiatives. The Senior Cost Manager will be a part of the CCG Operations team that has a reputation for collaborative, competent professionals that try to inject fun into our workday while taking great pride in achieving high performance.

Responsibilities/Expectations :

- Identify cost reduction initiatives by way of competitor tear downs, competitive analyses, collaboration, research, and other possible means

- Chair and drive meetings to gather and share projects slated for cost reduction, prioritize these projects using analytical processes (such as ROI), and aggressively drive these projects to completion to realize the planned benefits

- Collaborate with and lead cross functional team members from finance, procurement, engineering, manufacturing, marketing and supply chain organizations for cost related activities

- Understand all cost related information for CCG products including BOM (bill of materials), NAND, DRAM and MVA (manufacturing value add) related costs

- Drive cost reduction/optimization idea generation sessions with CCG and cross functional team members

- Track progress on cross functional cost reduction initiatives

- Work closely with engineering to understand the technical reasons we make design decisions and how those decisions impact our cost

- Work with procurement to understand BOM negotiation activities/results

Qualifications/Skills Requested :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering or preferably an MBA

- 8 to 10 yr of work Exp

- 5+ Years of semiconductor experience, preferably in a business or related capacity

- Highly organized energetic, self-starting collaborator, with demonstrated ability to work across functions and drive large scale programs

- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills

- Good with digesting large amounts of data and turning it into information

- Comfortable working with reporting platforms (Power BI, Tableau, or something similar)
