Senior Manager - Statutory Audit
We are looking for a Senior Manager - Statutory Audit for Chartered Accountants who is responsible for conducting and managing various kind of audits according to audit plans. Moreover, you have to oversee the process of audits, making recommendations on policies, and ensuring that the organization fulfils international and governmental obligations of compliance.
Your contribution will help the company to maintain high-quality audits and make better strategic decisions for the business plan.
Audit :
Plan and manage the entire life cycle of the audit.
Analyse financial statements and identify audit-related issues.
Lead the audit process and successful completion of financial audits.
Perform and lead periodic assessment and testing of controls.
Supervise and conduct independent audits.
Perform various risk and control assessments.
Liaison with managerial staff and present findings.
Perform various audits with high volume.
Report Generation
Ensure timely completion of audits and submission of reports to the concerned persons.
Team Management
Lead, develop and manage the team of junior auditors.
Assign duties and tasks to the team.
Act as the Performance Manager and lead the career development of staff members.
Ensure procedures, policies, legislation and regulations are correctly abiding.
Additional Responsibilities :
Ensure compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements.
Develop and implement policies and procedures.
Review and resolve problems faced by staff auditors.
Work with the Recruitment team to support hiring needs.
Required Qualification :
Technical Skillset :
Chartered Accountant with 5-6 years post qualification experience (preferable with CA firm as an Audit specialist).
Must have worked on Indian Assignments with listed companies, manufacturing companies and service oriented industry.
Must have worked with a reputed CA firm'.
Expert knowledge of business processes, accounting, reporting and audit methodology.
Excellent knowledge into accounting and audit standards.
Should know how to report under IFRS.
Knowledge of direct and indirect taxes and corporate laws.
Excellent team management and client handling experience.
Strong analytical skills.

Role & Responsibilities Synopsis :
- Work with the Audit Team to execute Statutory Audit-related services for clients
- Build and manage a team of Audit professionals
- Candidate is expected to work closely with the Director / Partner to build client relationships
Experience and Background :
- Have the ability to work under deadlines and demanding client conditions.
- Have strong soft skills like leadership, interpersonal, team and communication skills both verbal and written.
- 6 years experienced required
- Outstation Candidate can also apply if they are fine with Delhi Location
- The candidate will be expected to be a team member in large assignments and lead small / medium audit teams whilst exercising compliance with our Audit Manual, auditing standards and legal regulations
- The Individual : Be a qualified CA Have 5 -6 years post qualification experience in Statutory Audit in a similar environment (Audit and Accounting firms)
- Have the ability to work under stringent deadlines and demanding client conditions
- Be willing to travel within India or abroad for continuous/ long periods of time
- Have strong soft skills like interpersonal, team and communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent communication skills is a must
