Qualification & Skills :
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field is generally required.
- A master's degree in these areas can be an added advantage.
- At least 5 years of experience in social media marketing or a related field, with a proven track record of managing successful social media campaigns for an established.
- Ability to design and implement effective social media strategies that align with business goals.
- Proficiency in creating engaging content, including text, images, and videos.
- Excellent copywriting skills are essential.
- Deep knowledge of various social media platforms (e.g, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) and how to use them for brand promotion.
- Strong skills in using analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, social media insights) to measure campaign performance and report on ROI.
- Experience in leading and mentoring a team, coordinating with other departments to ensure brand consistency.
- Experience in working with influencers to enhance brand visibility.
Roles & responsibilities :
- Design and implement social media strategies that align with business goals and enhance brand awareness.
- Develop channel-specific posting strategies and update them regularly based on data and audience feedback.
- Create, edit, and schedule engaging content, including text, photos, videos, and news, across various social media platforms.
- Oversee the design and layout of social media accounts (e.g, profile pictures, cover images) to ensure a cohesive brand image.
- Create and implement social media campaigns that align with communication and marketing initiatives.
- Set specific objectives for campaigns and report on return on investment (ROI).
- Monitor and analyse social media performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and native platform insights.
- Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rates, follower growth, and website traffic.
- Work closely with other departments (e.g, marketing, sales, customer service) to ensure brand consistency.
- Collaborate with designers on visual content and with influencers to improve brand reach.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies.
- Identify and launch new strategic social channels and features to keep the brand ahead of the curve.
- Develop and implement crisis management strategies to handle negative publicity or social media crises effectively.
