Senior Manager - Service Delivery - BFSI - CA

Purpose of role:

Ensure error free and high quality financial statements are delivered to the client

- Learn quickly and put in place past learnings across deals / clients

- Ensure monitoring of agreed levels of productivity and deliver efficiency accordingly

- Identify process improvements, automations and prioritize these and implement these across the portfolio.

- Identify key individuals based on a matrix of performance and potential.

- Perform succession planning for all key positions

- Demonstrate the core values of the company

- Keep the team motivated despite all delivery pressure - both quality and timeliness aspect

Scope

- Manage a team of about 50+ and Deliver on financial metrics

- Manage multiple Clients finance, accounting payables, receivables and cash management processes as required by the business

- Special Projects ( Quality Improvement, Productivity) relating to Finance

Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

- Manage multiple finance & accounting and controllership processes to pre- determined KPI's and SLA

- Processes may include, but are not limited to

- General ledger and sub-ledger accounting

- A/R and A/P management

- Payments

- Accrual management

- Provisions management

- Financial, Planning & Analysis Payroll

- Statutory accounting and audit

- Balance sheet management

- Migrate processes from other locations into the SSC as required

Relevant Experience :

- At least 10 years hands-on experience in accounting field

- Finance or Professional Services sector experience

- Experience working within a multinational, shared services environment or a KPO

- Willingness and enthusiasm to expand into the role

- Exposure to indirect taxation preferred

- Previous experience of IFRS-based delivery appreciated

Education/ Memberships:

- Advanced degree in accounting or finance

- Chartered Accountancy qualification is a must.
