Role : Sr. Global Trader (Sr. Manager level)

Experience : 4-9 years

CTC : According to industry standards (CTC offered will be inclusive of 12% variable)

Purpose of Job: To protect the foreign currency exposure of the group arising from imports, exports and foreign currency borrowings so as to minimize the impact of fluctuations on Company financials. Drive hedging framework and ensure compliance to the company's risk management policy at all times.

Key deliverables:

1. Identify, quantify and monitor all foreign exchange risk exposure of group companies across geographies.

2. Lead the hedging framework for Africa and South Asia - FCY loans (~USD 1.5-2 Bn) and Payables (~USD 1.5 Bn). Diversify hedge product mix through Options, Forwards, Quasi hedging, offshore products

3. Regularly monitor the Mark to Market of the hedge portfolio and analyze the variances

4. Prepare and implement models for scenario analysis and the resultant impact in the finance cost of hedges and the translation of FCY items

5. Develop suitable hedging solutions to minimize and save hedge cost and also take strategic hedges to protect against any unforeseen extreme events

6. Evaluation of current portfolio of derivatives and analysis of potential new structures to decide on suitability to company objectives and stress testing for potential impact in case of moves in market variables

7. Conducting extensive research on G3 and Africa markets and analyzing the same with respect to decisions being taken for hedging the forex exposure.

8. Liaison with banks in India, Africa and South Asia for FX limits & other FX enablement. Coordinating through Control unit for documentation and internal and external reporting

9. Regularly interact with bank to understand market sentiments, be up to date with all market data being issued on a daily basis, undertake various risk and sensitivity analysis to assess the direction in which the market is heading and proactively decide on remedies to mitigate risks

10. Keep abreast of the regulatory changes to ensure that financial risks are proactively and optimally hedged, and no exposure to risk of non-compliance with regulations exists.

11. Regularly engage with the Counterparts in Opcos to educate them and get their coordination in implementation and execution of hedges.

12. Lead the Murex implementation project as a spoke from Risk Solutions Group and also as a back up to the Project lead from Control Unit

13. Coordination with other units- Debt, Liquidity to identify the risks emanating through the transactions initiated by these units and devising risk solutions around those.

14. Reporting feeds to internal stakeholders such as BPA, Accounting team for inclusion into MAPA, Accounting books and Annual Operating Plans (AOP)
