Role Overview:

As the Salesforce Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and customization of Salesforce applications to meet the company's business requirements.

You will manage a Salesforce team, ensuring they deliver high-quality solutions that optimize performance and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:

- Lead and manage the Salesforce development team.

- Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate team members to ensure a high level of expertise and operational efficiency.

Solution Development:

- Translate business requirements into well-architected customized solutions on the Salesforce platform.

- Participate in technical design sessions and develop technical solution documentation aligned with business objectives.

Technical Expertise:

- Apply best practices and your technical/business experience to Salesforce solutions.

- Make design trade-offs and communicate design decisions effectively.

Salesforce Implementation:

- Implement Salesforce solutions adhering to platform best practices.

- Develop custom platform components (Apex, Visualforce, APIs, Lightning Components).

- Integrate Salesforce with back-office systems using middleware tools.

- Manage complex data migrations as part of Salesforce implementations.

Custom Development:

- Develop, test, and document custom development, integrations, and data migration elements.

- Design and optimize business processes, integrating them across disparate systems.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Salesforce Expertise: Proven experience in Salesforce development, customization, and implementation.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.

- Integration Experience: Ability to integrate Salesforce with external systems using middleware tools.

- Project Management: Strong project management skills to oversee development cycles and ensure timely delivery of solutions.

- Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, understand business requirements, and convey technical solutions effectively.

- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to resolve complex technical challenges.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Certified Administrator, or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (desired).

- Proven experience in managing and leading Salesforce development teams.
