Senior Manager -sales (Female candidates only)
About the Role:
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our national sales team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of RSMs, Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and Field Sales Officers (FOS) across India, with a focus on driving productivity, developing effective sales strategies, and enhancing team capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of ASMs and FOS across various regions in India.
- Set clear objectives and performance targets for team members, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
Productivity Enhancement:
- Develop and implement strategies to boost sales productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics to evaluate team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Design and execute action plans to achieve sales targets and drive growth.
Sales Planning and Strategy:
- Create and oversee the development of a comprehensive sales plan and Joint Planning Process (PJP) to maximize market coverage and sales opportunities.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to inform strategic planning and adjust sales approaches as necessary.
Training and Development:
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate ASMs and FOS on sales techniques, product knowledge, and best practices.
- Facilitate workshops and coaching sessions to improve skills and performance within the team.
- Stay current with industry trends and incorporate relevant knowledge into training sessions.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Analyze sales data and provide insights to drive strategic decision-making and optimize sales strategies.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, such as Marketing and Product Development, to ensure alignment of sales strategies and initiatives.
- Foster strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
- To succeed in this role you should have the following.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role, with a track record of successfully managing a sales team.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, market dynamics, and industry trends.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and develop actionable strategies based on insights.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel across India as required.
