Senior Manager - RFP Contract Management & Pricing - Steel/Industrial Business

Pricing:

- Go through the RFP, RFQ and other documents released by clients. Highlight key areas of concerns for HPY which needs to be discussed with the client (penalties, SLA terms, indemnity, liability, etc.)

- Works with available data, take suitable assumptions, propose pricing strategy and set competitive prices

- Takes market trend, competitive landscape, etc into consideration while finalizing pricing strategy

- Prepare various scenarios on different sets of assumptions and present to senior management

- Comparison of old RFPs, orders with the existing one; prepare comparison of scope of work, SLA terms, commercials, etc. along with necessary justifications

- Post winning the order, ensure that implementation is done as per assumptions taken; communicating to the relevant teams on the timelines, budget, etc. and oversee the progress to avoid any slippage

Contract Management:

- Review the existing and new contract and highlight any areas of concerns to HPY. Compare RFP terms and contract terms; highlight amended clauses to the relevant teams. Participate in discussions with the client

- Ensure that teams are informed about the services they have to contractually provide to the client

- Penalties, SLA terms to be explained to the team before they take over any new project. Deviations, if any, to be assessed for any kind of adverse impact on HPY and same to be highlighted before implementation

- Aware of regulatory changes and their impact on the agreements. Timely highlighting such impacts to the senior management
