Senior Manager - Research & Development - Dairy Products Formulation - FMCG

We are currently hiring for a Sr Manager - R&D and Dairy Products Formulations position with the topmost FMCG MNC in India. The position is to be based at their HO and R&D Centre in India.

Job Profile :

- To lead and facilitate the activities of Product Development in a particular segment to make new products and to deliver on time, at given cost and complying with regulatory guidelines

- To improve functional delivery by continuously optimizing current formulations through optimizing ingredient and by introducing new ingredients/technology, to proactively cater Market dynamics.

- To manage cost and squeeze initiatives by identifying new suppliers and alternate equivalents; to liquidate NMS on a periodic basis

- To keep updated about the global trends of technology, cost scenario, competition strategy and Intellectual innovations via literature search, supplier network, Patent search etc.

- Identification of new RM's for novel performance delivery by regular networking with suppliers, surfing through literatures, coordinating with technical experts and by identifying the boundaries of patents

- Performance evaluation of developed formulations by coordinating In-lab, parlour and panel assessments

- Managing cost and squeeze initiatives by identifying new suppliers and alternate equivalents; to liquidate NMS on a periodic basis.

Educational Qualification

Post Graduate in Dairy Technology / Dairy Engineering. A Phd is highly preferable.

Salary : Around Rs.24.0 - 28.0 Lpa
