Reports to : Head Knowledge Services

Span of Control : 10

Role and responsibilities :

Knowledge Services the analytics and research centres of excellence of the company is established to service key companies within the group.

This team will essentially :

- Provide analytics & research support,

- Identify areas to support onshore, partners, COOs

- Sr. Manager Research is expected to implement the KS concept and pitch services to group companies.

- Manage delivery of the team on business research by monitoring performance to ensure productivity, timeliness and quality of reports to clients

- Ensure value addition to stakeholders by providing insights on trends/data that are available for the stakeholders and thus act as experts in the area

- Create superior rapport with stakeholders and ensure constant flow of information in areas of processes improvements, other projects and be able to sight new product development opportunities

- Instrumenting change to align with the vision of the respective stakeholders as well as the overall organization

- Identify new opportunities and areas of support within the Group and develop capabilities in the India team to deliver the same by knowledge development of exiting team or enhancing the team size to achieve agreed business targets

- Create an environment for continuous learning by providing a business overview to team and motivate to develop knowledge and intellectual capacity in the areas on investment, research and overall business

- Promote strategic research and product development in line with business needs

- Ensure a right sized team availability in terms of headcount, skills, relevant knowledge and experience

- Manage performance of the team by setting standards for performance and motivating team to achieve beyond these standards

- Have a view and information on the skills and knowledge gaps of team and plan for training, cross skilling and up skilling of all team members for current and future needs

- Plan and implement engagement and retention initiatives (including rewards)

Essential Experience :

- 8 -12 years of relevant experience in business research in KPOs/consulting/ITeS firms with 2-3 years of experience in managing project teams of upto 7 people

- Should have had exposure to working in global settings
