Role - Manager / Sr, Manager Recruitment (Bulk Hiring)/Talent Acquisition
The role of Manager / Sr, Manager Recruitment is to develop and enhance Amazon's visibility in India, helping us recruit the brightest talent. The manager will be responsible for leading a team of highly motivated Recruiters, identifying new opportunities, using innovative sourcing strategies and improving processes.
S/he will partner with other stakeholders, (i.e., recruiting teams, HR leaders, business leaders,, alumni and other internal / external groups) to strategize and create recruiting programs based on the company's hiring needs and ensure successful implementation of these programs to maximize hiring outcomes.
Responsibilities :
Manage a team : appropriate selection of team members; specify clear role definitions/responsibilities; coach and prepare the team members to ensure a unified recruiting approach.
- Create detailed plans for alternate sourcing strategies with clearly defined objectives, desired outcomes, diversity plan and calendar of events.
- Create and implement a roadmap to ensure year-round availability of high quality talent
- Collaborate with the business sponsors and cross-functional managers to develop recruiting strategies from additional sourcing channels.
- Develop operational plans and branding activities with the hiring managers
- Develop and manage relationships with Vendors, department heads
- Set metrics and monitor the effectiveness of ongoing strategies; recommend and implement changes as required.
- Keep abreast of relevant innovations in Recruiting, Marketing and Events and use that knowledge to improve best practices at Amazon India.
Basic Qualifications :
- 12 - 17 years of experience in managing large scale Bulk hiring programs and people management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in all contemporary tools related to Analysis, MIS and Reporting.
- Experience in driving scalable programs end-to-end with an ability to identify and drive continuous improvement.
- Upbeat, positive attitude with the ability to work well with a variety of people.
- Experience in engaging and working with key internal and external stakeholders in order to develop and maintain strong relationships.
- Flexibility to travel extensively.
- Exposure to various types of recruiting (External, referral & lateral)
Preferred Qualifications :
- The ideal candidate will have 5+ of experience in Bulk hiring /Recruitment / and be ready to take on a new challenge
- Advanced degree (MBA or other applicable advanced degree) in a relevant discipline (marketing, strategy, communications, etc.) from a premier institution
- Ability to think and act strategically, solve problems, adapt to changes and learn quickly
- Able to work under pressure, prioritize workload, manage simultaneous tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- At least 3+ Experience in managing people and teams
