Position- Sr. Manager Quality Assurance

Job Location- Chennai

Qualification- BE/ MBA

Experience- minimum 15 years in QA with hands on experience in structural steel

Job Description:

- Ensuring company accreditations are maintained (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001).

- Ensuring all company policies, procedures, and work instructions are in compliance with ISO requirements.

- Determining, negotiating and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications.

- Investigating and setting standards for quality and health and safety

- Assessing customer requirements and ensuring that these are met

- Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing quality, delivery, productivity and customer-service standards; identifying and resolving problems; completing audits; determining system improvements; implementing change.

- Develop QHSE assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses; identifying critical control points and preventive measures; establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures; monitoring improvements.

- Maintains and improve quality by completing process, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints; collaborating with other members of management to develop continual improvement methods.

- Train all company personnel in the documented company policies

- Identify relevant legislative requirements.

- Control and maintain the company audit and risk assessment schedule.

- Conduct safety, quality and environmental system compliance audits

- Ensure personnel have received appropriate training and are assessed as competent to perform tasks.

- Prepare and submit monthly management reports relating to company systems, compliance and incidents

- Supplier evaluations.

- Monitoring and managing QA activities. Must have experience on Structural Steel / Civil Engineering.
