Job Title: Senior Manager-QA/QC Head
Location:Paradip,Orissa
Experience:10-12 years
Preferred Industry/ Sector/ Background: Construction/ EPC/ Oil & Gas / Engineering
Responsible for :
Implementing Corporate QA/ QC Policy and assuring/ Controlling Quality at project site.
Role Purpose: Ensure complete adherence with the total quality management system on the project site assimilating corporate objectives which implies both ensuring the requirements given by the client and delivering on the company's Quality objectives and maintaining the highest standards of QAQC in its entirety.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Set quality standards and requirements by defining a project quality plan and related job specific effective quality control procedures to ensure highest quality work standards according to the customers' need and corporate requirements.
2. Observe and monitor all activities and equipment on the project site to ensure conformance to the organisations quality and project specifications and make or order necessary adjustments or change in order to ensure complete compliance to the Quality norms/ standards and codes.
3. Identify, mobilise and maintain equipment, material and man power in order to carry out quality testing and control.
4. Setting requirements for Raw materials and compliances
5. Involve in and as well as arrange first party , second party and third party audits to ensure complete adherence of the function to external and internal standards to ensure right product.
6. Explain and discuss the expectations and requirements of the client by attending meetings hold by contractor as well as subcontractor in order to fulfil the contracted agreements.
7. Provide input in designing of materials and find potential for cost reduction in specifications for the material.
8. Preparing Monthly reports/ Dashboards to the organisations headquarter.
9. Keeping and Maintaining adequate and accurate documentation at every stages of the project
10. Conducting weekly and monthly Quality Control and Assurance meetings and solicit customer/ stake holders feedback
