Job Description : Looking to hire a Senior Manager - Quality Assurance with 10+ years of experience in quality assurance and food safety along with experience in managing contract manufacturers in FMCG/Food industry.

They are looking to hire a Senior Manager- Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Supplier for their Mumbai office.

Description :

Reporting to the India QFS Head, your primary responsibilities will be :

- Ensuring compliance of finished products as per company's values and requirements

- Working with cross functional teams for contract manufacturers' selection as per evaluation, standards' (quality, food safety, continuous improvement) implementation at contract manufacturing sites, managing yearly performance for improvement along with procurement team and owning the traceability system

- Actively contributing to requirements of technical support and expertise in quality related problem solving and risk analysis in all situations

- Identifying capability gaps of contract manufacturers' QA team and working with teams to fill those gaps

- Driving a Quality culture across teams when working with contract manufacturers

- Owning budgeting responsibilities such as preparing and controlling Opex budgets for Quality and Food Safety activities as well as Sourcing and Supply Chain teams

- Managing supplier Quality Assurance responsibilities such as selection of suppliers after evaluation, supplier risk mapping and risk mitigation plans, validating raw materials and product management specifications in terms of Quality and Food Systems, developing new suppliers and being cost efficient

- Managing performance by introducing continuous improvement programs at supplier level according to company's standards and contributing to dual sourcing and booster projects

- Setting up safety and quality programs for agricultural supplies and providing expertise in risk analysis as well as problem solving

Profile :

- Ideally you are a BE/B.Tech (Food background will be a value addition) with 10+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Manager in manufacturing set up, with products of Infant products, healthcare nutrition and medical nutrition products. You have experience in managing suppliers and driving a Quality culture across organization. You have excellent problem solving, communication and interpersonal relations skills. You have a great track record and are open to new challenges.
