- Experience in Purchase of direct or indirect materials.
- Handling 500 - 600 hotel rooms.
- Identifies & develop new vendors to enhance product quality and reduce cost.
- Proposes major cost saving opportunities by staying informed about trends and best practices in materials management (logistics,inventory control and purchasing and import substitution).

- Takes measures to follow appropriate inventory policies.
- Constantly monitors key performance indicators for his/her department and decides on necessary actions.
- Ensures MIS on materials to ensure proper par stocks.
- Ensures that the organization's policies are adhered to by all the employees in the department
- Develops and conducts training programs as required for departmental staff in collaboration with the training department.
- Ensures career development and succession planning for all employees based solely on performance
- Creates a platform of engagement to keep the team members involved
