We are looking for an experienced PR professional to lead our outreach for our services and content business. The Sr. PR Manager will interface with the product, marketing and content teams to create and identify opportunities to promote our offerings.
- This role is ideal for a dynamic communicator with strong experience in managing lifestyle, devices and services PR.
- You will lead, create and execute a PR program including developing messaging frameworks, identifying compelling stories, creating innovative customer engagement concepts, interfacing with authors, and identifying opportunities to showcase our offerings amongst our stakeholders.
- While you will have the support of agencies, this role is for those who like to get their hands dirty. You will be responsible for measuring, maintaining and improving the quality of our outreach, in the process working with internal operations, technology and business teams as needed.
- You must have first-class copy-writing and proof-reading skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. We are looking for candidates who think on their feet, delight in simple, innovative and effective solutions.
Some of the key result areas include, but not limited to :
- The person will be point of contact for the PR program and must therefore be comfortable and confident liaising with multiple teams and senior leaders.
- He / She will be responsible for working with key stakeholders including but not limited to business heads, product managers, marketing teams, social media teams to develop a communication outreach plan.
- He/ She will be responsible for creating and execution of the plan and must have the ability to use the agency appropriately
- He/ She will be responsible for prudently managing the budgets allocated
- This role involves influencing peers and stakeholders in other functions to achieve the operational and communication goals assigned
- The ideal candidate actively seeks to understand our core business values and initiatives, and translates those into everyday practices
Basic Qualifications :
Education / Background/ Work experience :
- Bachelor's degree required, a post graduate degree or diploma in communications is preferred
- 10 plus years of work experience
- Skilled in Independently managed a corporate communications function or campaigns
- Attention to detail and capability to work on multiple projects in parallel
- Self driven and ability to be both strategic and execution oriented
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications :
- Past Experience of working on consumer brands and services is preferable but not mandatory
- Handled agencies and managed teams
