Description :
Reporting to the Head - Marketing Communications, you will be responsible for:
- Working with PR agency for media messaging of parent and associated companies
- Identify press opportunities through evolving issues
- Develop content for dissemination via press releases, social media, websites and other distribution channels
- Conduct press conferences and briefings, photoshoots of senior management etc.
- Scan media marketplace to keep up-to-date on the latest media trends.
- Monitor online and offline campaigns, and report on results.
- Negotiate with media channels to close competitive deals.
- Promote additional projects to support new product launches.
- Build long-term relationships with media influencers
- Creating press releases in global logistics/shipping media
- Managing industry body relations. Ensuing adequate representation across all important industry bodies such as CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM, etc
- Working on personal profiling of Senior Leadership
- Providing clients with information about new promotional opportunities and current PR campaigns progress
- Analyzing media coverage and manage the organization's media budget
Profile
A successful applicant:
- Should be Post Graduate in Management Studies/ MBA
- Should have 8-12 years of experience in Public Relations / Media Manager
- Agency / journalistic experience preferred
- Should have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Should be adept in social media.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications/Media or related (essential).
- Demonstrable experience with building effective media campaigns.
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills.
- A natural leader who displays strong decision-making and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
