TYPICAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Qualification: - B Sc/ BE /B Tech; MBA (Operations Management)/ PGDBA
Experience -
- 10-12 years experience in Alco-Bev or FMCG industry - 5-6 years in bottling operations/ line production
Knowledge & skills -
- Project management expertise
- Knowledge on production / business processes
- Knowledge of Quality management /TQM
- Knowledge of bottling operations
Best suited for someone who

- Has got exposure in dealing / negotiating with Trade Unions
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
PERFORMANCE MEASURES (QUANTITATIVE / QUALITATIVE)
1. Production Plan
- Frame Implement and review Daily, Weekly & Monthly Production Schedule
- Achieve Order Execution & Annual Production Plan via resource optimization
- Monitor line-wise production output
- Implement productivity Improvement steps via capacity utilization
- Ensure production is cost effective, product is of good quality and on time production
- Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of executives & supervisors who are responsible for various production activities such as packing, sealing, filling, machine operation etc.
- Entering & Maintaining production data in SAP.
- Adherence to procedures w.r.t. safety, quality, environment & security standards of the company.

- No. of overdue orders
- No. of man-hours lost

2. Resource & Materials Management
- Execute sourcing decisions with respect to capacity
- Monitor demand vs available resource capacity & allocation
- Follow-up with material department for low stock items and ensure on-time production
- Allocate labour and capital resources to maximize productivity
- Plan and review materials efficiency
- Man-hours lost
- Adherence to inventory levels
- No. of stoppages due to labour/material shortage
3. Productivity Management
- Plan and implement priorities and manage production line maintenance or downtimes to minimize disruptions to manufacturing schedules
- Analyse production, maintenance and malfunction records to identify problems and recommend solutions that will improve performance
- Motion, Method & Time Study to reduce manpower to the optimum
- Out of Box idea to innovate or adopt methodology to reduce utility consumption

4. Support Role
- Support and review improvement areas in production process
- Initiate and monitor corrective & preventive action
- Ensure high quality production /material flow /housekeeping and conformance to Health, Safety & Environment standards and Quality Management.
- Support other factory departments
- Conduct regular meetings, shop rounds to ensure compliance of factory rules/ standards set for Industrial safety, Environment Systems are adhered to, to meet Quality & business standards
- Collaborate across the units in the region & the country to share best practices encouraging results on improvement / excellence activities & shamelessly copying others good ones.

5. People Management
- Lead, Supervise, guide and motivate team;
- Maintain discipline; resolve internal problems; and communicate change working systems
- Provide training on EHS, Quality matters
- Develop a team of supervisors/operators in terms of skills and engage with workmen on a regular basis to ensure smooth operation and harmonic IR relations
