Job Description
1. Drive continuous improvement culture through training, co-ordination and implementation of principles of Lean/Six Sigma in day-to-day operations
2. Lead and execute high impact improvement projects ensuring timely closure and benefit realization. (These could be using the standard PI methodologies of Six Sigma, Lean or using a common sense based analytical problem solving based on the pain areas, improvement's identified)
3. As a leading catalyst for continuous process improvement within the organization, the Master Black Belt position is responsible for driving the long term vision of the process excellence framework throughout the vertical, in coordination with the Process Excellence Leader
4. Understand customer requirements, business priorities and goals and translate customer requirements / metrics into in process metrics
5. Lead / Participate in customer performance improvement projects / initiatives. Ensure projects begin and remain aligned with customer CTQs.
6. Formulate effective & credible mechanism to continually enhance, measure, track and report overall performance of engagements.
7. Responsible for identifying improvement opportunities; defining and justifying projects; negotiating resources; launching project teams; managing team activities; training, coaching, and mentoring of belts assigned to teams; leading teams to execute projects; tracking project status and results; anticipating and removing barriers; and developing team members.
8. Responsible for providing the project results and recommends corrective action, as required, to the Quality Leader.
9. Enhance process capability from the current base-line through process improvement methodologies
10. Analyze current operations to identify new project opportunities and financial benefits. Determine key drivers to meet the business objectives.
11. Develop and implement appropriate metrics, dashboards and systems to sustain gains and promote Process Excellence activity and a continuous improvement culture for aligned vertical
12. Plan and execute Projects as per defined Timelines to meet desired goal as a Project Lead for Key Projects and as a Mentor for Projects done by Operations, who are trained on Lean Six Sigma
13. Lead and facilitate key organizational initiatives on Process excellence
14. Design & Re-Design Business Processes towards Process Improvement / Transformation.
15. Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement.
16. Identify opportunities for improvement and bottlenecks through waste analysis and consistency analysis.
17. Analyse incoming work/demand and workload allocation methods.
18. Conduct diagnostic studies on the key accounts identified and implement a Process excellence framework in line with the business objectives
