As the Senior Manager of Financial Accounting, and Strategic Planning, you will provide leadership and oversight to critical financial functions within the Protective Packaging Division.

This role requires advanced expertise in product costing, procurement, and comprehensive financial management to drive strategic initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Planning:

- Develop and execute strategic financial plans aligned with business objectives.

- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize costs, enhance profitability, and support business growth.

Costing of Product:

- Lead and optimize the costing process for products manufactured within the division.

- Ensure accurate calculation of costs, including direct and indirect expenses, overheads, and margins.

Financial Control and General Accounting:

- Oversee general accounting activities, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and standards.

- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes and finalize books of accounts.

SAP and Financial Systems Management:

- Utilize SAP and other financial systems effectively for transactions, reporting, and analysis.

- Ensure data integrity and adherence to company policies in financial system operations.

Management Reporting and Analysis:

- Prepare and present comprehensive management information system (MIS) reports to senior management.

- Analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics to drive informed decision-making.

Taxation and Compliance:

- Stay abreast of tax regulations and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

- Lead tax planning strategies and oversee tax filing activities.

Inventory and Cost Management:

- Optimize inventory management processes to minimize costs and improve operational efficiency.

Audit and Risk Management:

- Coordinate statutory audits and internal audits to ensure robust internal controls and compliance.

- Mitigate financial risks through effective risk assessment and management strategies.

Leadership and Team Development:

- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate financial strategies into operational plans and initiatives.

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Extensive experience in financial operations, product costing, and strategic financial planning.

- Advanced proficiency in SAP and other financial software systems.

- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information effectively to senior management.

- Leadership qualities with proven experience in leading and developing teams.

- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively
