Senior Manager - Plant Accounting - CA - FMCG

Our client is a huge food products conglomerate, leading the processed food business through its range of products, its internationally certified production facilities, the consistency of its quality, and its unmatched expertise in the industry. The company has partnered with a prominent food chain to become one of their biggest suppliers in India. They have a diversified client base across sectors including retail, institutional and QSR clients. They also have an international presence with products exported to Europe, Africa, Middle East, US and Australia.

As the Senior Manager - Plant Accounting, you will be reporting to the CFO and be responsible for the overall functioning of the finance and accounts department.

What you will do :

- Supervising, directing, guiding and reviewing the work of the accounting staff and monitoring accounting functions

- Identifying key value drivers, developing and compiling revenue and expense budget, reviewing implementation on continuous basis, and informing adverse deviations to concerned functions for corrective action

- Performing analysis of Funds Management and account payables and checking their current balances along with ageing and accordingly prioritizing payments to vendors

- Spearheading inventory teams and preparing the final reports and discussing the same with management

- Evaluating capital expenditure proposal and providing recommendations after ensuring consistency with strategic business direction

- Monitoring all purchases of plant including engineering spares, packing and other consumables with purchase in-charge

- Responsible for all statutory compliance under various laws of Commercial Taxes, Excise & Customs,Income tax, labour and all other laws/ rules applicable to the unit

- Responsible to deal with legal attorneys as and when required

What you need to know/have :

- CA preferred

- Demonstrable experience of 7-10 years in handling Plant Accounting/Commercial Accounting in a manufacturing company

- Male candidates preferred

- Excellent Communication Skills

- Flexible for 6 days a week working structure
