This is a pioneering program with a strong PPP model, an agency-led approach to livelihoods and a vision of socio-economic transformation. organisations is run through a public-private partnership that empowers the Government, Corporates, NGOs and Citizens to work together towards changing lives. The Government takes care of the provision of location and capital expenditure. Corporates contribute through CSR funds to provide operational expenses. NGOs come on board to provide various skilling courses to the youth. With penetration in more than 400 of the 500 odd slum communities of Pune, the program has now expanded to other cities viz. PCMC, Dombivali, Aurangabad and also States viz. Delhi, Odisha and in Hyderabad.

Role overview:
The candidate will lead the placement partnerships for the City Saturation Project. The role involves designing and implementing effective placement strategies, managing strategic partnerships with businesses, government agencies, and other stakeholders to create job placement opportunities for the youth.
Your role in supplementing the organisational goals :
1. Partnership Development : Identify and cultivate partnerships with potential employers, industries, and organizations to create a network of placement opportunities.
2. Team Leadership and Management :
- Lead and mentor a team of placement officers, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the placement team.
- Monitor and evaluate the team's performance, providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
3. Monitoring and Evaluation: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for placements and regularly assess the effectiveness.
4. Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare comprehensive reports on placement activities, outcomes, and impact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of placements, success stories, and challenges faced during the placement process.
5. Advocacy and Outreach: Represent the organisation in relevant forums, conferences, and meetings to promote the organization's placement initiatives.
6. Prepare a calendar for the job drives and employer connect.
7. Conducting employer due diligence before onboarding the employers.
8. Support Center Managers to deliver a sharp focus on achieving successful youth placements.
Who we are looking for:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in a social work field.
- Experience: 9-12 years of experience in Placements, B2B Sales or Corporate Relations, preferably in the social sector.
- Knowledge of employment and training programs, vocational education, and job market trends.
- Well-informed of labor market trends, employer needs, and best practices in career services.
- Strong partnership-building credentials with the ability to tailor style and methods when working with employers' and training partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in the English language is a must.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds.
