Our client is a leading intra-city delivery solutions provider, that focuses on sorting out the largely unorganised logistics space in the country. It is also an aggregator of inter-city mini trucks and large transport vehicles for the Retail, Ecommerce and FMCG sectors. Their app is a platform used by their clients and truck owners, providing GPS enable vehicles, 24X7 support, economical pricing and multi-capacity loaders. Truckers can use their location and choose their transport jobs, while the companies get to pick the drivers as per their ratings.

With a fleet of over 44000 trucks and clients like Britannia, Bisleri, Amazon, Flipkart, Metro CashnCarry, Gati, Delhivery and more, the 5-year old platform has raised over $20Mn across multiple funding rounds. Founded and led by IIT-KG alumni, the company has operations in major cities across the country and looking to make inroads in other sectors and verticals.

As a P& L Senior Manager, you will be responsible for the entire P&L of the business and lead it to scalability. You will be taking the business to the next level, building & enhancing on the existing processes, finding and executing pockets of growth and helping the Product/Tech team to leverage growth.

What will you do:

- Defining, planning, communicating and owning the business and scaling it PAN India

- Owning multiple channels of sales and be responsible for holding the growth for channels independently

- Managing the Supply side eco-system and partners/vendors to drive efficiencies

- Managing teams across band, grades and geographies

- Understanding and measuring the success metrics directly inclined towards your vertical and aligning them as per the business needs

- Analyzing the key metrics being tracked in the business and creating a plan to iterate and optimize for the future

- Building Tech Stack from business perspective with the Marketing and Product Teams

Desired Candidate Profile

What you need to have:

Master's / Bachelor's degree, MBA will be bonus

Tier 1 college graduates only

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in P&L Management and proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful business line throughout its lifecycle

- B2C and B2B2C experience specifically building Teams, scale and distribution is a bonus

- Entrepreneurial mindset

- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently within the Team and across teams and departments

- A first principle thinking approach in problem solving

- Ability to build from scratch and the vision to scale it

- Empathy towards the customer and the ability to understand their problems

- An Agile mindset

- Ability to understand and analyze industry/market/competition and internal business strategy

- Ability to use data to drive decision making

- Prior experience in building P&L for ancillary business is a plus
