Hiring an Operations,Planning & Customer Support professional for one of the topmost MNCs into Office/ Home Automation products, Access Control and Mechatronic Products.
- The position is to be based at Chennai
- Our client is one of the worlds top MNCs into Office and Home Automation and security and access solutions. The company has around 16,000 employees and is active in over 50 countries with presence through both production sites and distribution and service offices, in all relevant markets.
- Their customers get a comprehensive portfolio of products, solutions and services for security and building access. The product portfolio includes locking systems, fully networked electronic access solutions, physical access systems and automatic door systems. They also have a comprehensive range of door hinges and fittings, door controls. These are augmented by products for time and enterprise data recording, high-security locks, horizontal sliding walls and movable partitions.
Job Role : Import planning, Inventory management, Procurement Planning of Materials & Sub Contractors scheduling. Acting as a pivot point between Sales/Marketing and Operations to transform Customer Requirements in a way for Operations for best execution. And To ensure the hassle free delivery of services & products to customers.
Job Profile:
- Co-ordinate with Sales & Marketing and provide advance forecast to Suppliers based on field outlook, consumption trends, lead times and bulk deals in pipelines
- Co-ordinate with Imports / Procurement groups and ensure indent / orders are placed on suppliers with complete and correct details Develop effective ways of planning and distribution in line with demand supply of equipment in order to support Multi port clearance of goods
- Co-ordinate with Marketing, Sales & Import / Procurement groups in order to capture field demand for equipment items and converting it correctly into forecast / schedules for order placement on supplier for material availability at right time in right quantity at right place and further distribution to field for fulfillment of end customer orders
- Aligning Monthly plan with Sales and Operations Team.
- All imported raw material procurement planning across worldwide manufacturing locations in Germany/ China, etc.
- Accommodating customer urgencies after consensus with Production, Purchase and Sales team.
- Anticipating any potential risk to customer deliveries and escalating as per escalation matrix.
- Ensuring complete control on Receiving, Storing, Material movement and deliver to Shop.
- Ensuring optimum inventory levels of stocks so as to achieve maximum cost savings, at the same time ensuring availability of stocks to meet the sales targets with proactive approach.
- Developing and executing material requirement planning (MRP) for finish goods & accessories as per business requirement
Experience :
- At least 7-10 years of relevant working experience in PPC, Material Planning and Supply Chain
- Profound IT knowledge (Office) and SAP PP Module
- Result-orientation and entrepreneurial spirit
- Experience in international team-working
Qualification :
- Graduate, preferably Engineer (although not mandatory)
- MBA or major in economics will be an added advantage.
Salary & Perks : Best in the industry -Should be around Rs.25.0 Lpa
