Senior Manager - Operations - Auto Ancillary

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Ensure human safety in all regular and non-regular shop floor activities

- Initiate and Implement best safety prictices on shop floor

- Implement 5S across the plant

- Ensure awareness of employees on quality parameters at the shop floor.

- Execute first time right product quality and one process one check at shop floor

- Conduct analysis of recurring defects of the products and solve quality issues with problem solving method

- Conduct Weekly/Monthly rework and rejection /scrap Analysis for improvement Action along with cross functional teams.

- Analyze customer compaint and action planning

- Monitoring and analysis of operation variable cost ( manpower, gas, power & fuel etc.) and action plan for continuous improvement

- Use and promote lean manufaturing system on shop floor

- Preparation and manage plant operation budget, variance analysis and action planning

- Identify and implement cost saving projects

- Improvement productivity & conversion cost through Lean Manufacturing ( 5S & Visual Management, Kaizen& Standardize Work, Value Stream Mapping, Single Piece Flow, Error Proofing, Quick Problem Solving and Material Control / Kanban)

- Maximize labor efficiencies

- Achieve target inventory days on hand / Inventory turn over ration

- Planning and control of production schedules as per customer requirement

- Building team work culture; develops, train, coach, appraise and motivate functional heads

- Achieve operational excellence through implementation of total safety culture, implementation of corrective action for behavior based safety observation (BBSO), lean manufacturing, continuous improvement projects & implementation of best practices and problem solving.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- BE(Mechanical) with 15-20 years of experience in lean Manufacturing sytems, TPM, IATF core toos, Low Cost Automation, 7QC Tools, 8D / KT/ 6 Sigma, APQP / PPAP, Plant Layout, Metal forming, Heat Treatment, Planning.

- Good Leadership skills, Computer savvy, Excellent communication skills, Delegation of work, Problem solving and decision making skill, Customer Focus, Quality Focus, Team Work
