Senior Manager - Operational Risk - NBFC

Position: Manager / Senior Manager

Function: Operational Risk

Location: Mumbai

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To assess, measure, monitor, control and report operational risks for the FICC group and evaluate whether the risk management practices are in line with the operational risk strategies and policies of FICC.

2. Monitor and report Key Risk Indicators for each function. Analysis and reporting of Operational Loss events.

3. Monitoring conduct of quarterly RCSA testing by first line of defense for all functions.

4. Continuous interactions with central functions and branches to reinforce the objectives of Operational Risk in strengthening of processes.

5. To facilitate the Risk & Control Self Assessments by active participation and verifying the results of such assessments.

6. To coordinate the loss event capture process in line with the policy and conduct of Root cause analysis (RCA) with first line of defense.

7. Performing assurance of RCSA testing performed by first line of defense.

8. Review of process notes and policies to identify process gaps and risks.

9. Recommend risk mitigation plans/ controls to stakeholders and ensure implementation.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS :

Relevant Experience: 5 to 7 years

Education: Chartered Accountant or post-graduate with exposure in ORM.

1. Must have relevant ORM experience and currently working in a peer group company (Bank or NBFC)

2. Proficiency in Microsoft office- Excel, Word, PowerPoint

3. Ability to work independently and meet tight timelines
