Senior Manager - Operational Risk Management - BFS

Role :

1. Support in building scalable and effective processes to help launch new categories of Lending and structured loan products

2. Implementation of Operational Risk framework in accordance with RBI guidelines

3. Monitoring Operational Risk for Group - Secured / Unsecured / Structured / GM and corporate / support functions such as BO, Central Ops, Call centre, CX Ops etc.

4. Identification of inherent risk associated with the products and processes through Risk and Control Self-Assessment, Risk walkthroughs and Thematic reviews to assess financial impact and Residual Risk through review of control design and effectiveness.

5. Measurement and reporting of Risk across various functions of the Organisation and work with respective functions to mitigate them - through policy, process and technology.

6. Identification and monitoring of Key Risk Indicators to review trend analysis, deviations and ensuring corrective actions.

7. Approve Operational Risk losses (Frauds, Non-Frauds and Near Miss (errors) Incidents) and reporting the same with detailed analysis to prevent recurrence and appropriate control measures to the Risk Management Committee.

8. Review of Product & Process note at the time of conceptualization or change, identification of risk, suggest control measures and control testing on implementation of the product process note.

9. Participate in Management discussions and bring in the OR perspective to business operations, customer experience, partnerships, legal, technology and new initiatives

10. Closely engage with key stakeholders (Senior management, regulatory and compliance authorities)

Skills :

1. Strong Knowledge of regulatory Framework for NBFCs and Banks is a must along with experience in Management of Operational Risks

2. Knowledge of digital transactions framework and data protection / privacy regulations; preferred.

3. People management Skills and Stakeholder management skills.

Persona :

1. 7-10 years experience in Banks / NBFC ; understands Banks' risk perception and able to adapt our processes to the same Role :

2. Experience in B2C products is mandatory, with a broad range of products offered (secured, unsecured) - especially SME, LAP, etc.
