Job Summary:
- As a Senior Manager for a Mutual Fund Asset Management Company (AMC), your primary focus will be on acquiring new clients, reviving inactive accounts, and managing existing client relationships to build Assets Under Management (AUM).
- You will be responsible for client servicing, expanding market share, and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- You will also play a key role in up-selling and cross-selling mutual fund products and services to both corporate clients and individual distributors.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition and Activation:
- Drive new client acquisition and reactivate inactive accounts (Dead Folio Revivals).
- Follow up on leads provided by the Corporate Acquisition Team and convert them into active clients.
Client and Distribution Management:
- Manage relationships with existing clients, focusing on building and expanding AUM.
- Provide comprehensive client and distribution servicing, including hand-holding transactions for new and existing clients.
- Develop long-term relationships with key and potential distributors to generate repeat business.
Market Share Expansion:
- Increase market share by acquiring new clients and servicing existing ones.
- Actively network with clients, competitors, and distributors to gather market information and identify opportunities.
Sales and Cross-Selling:
- Implement strategies for up-selling and cross-selling mutual fund products across different asset classes to corporates and their promoters.
- Initiate cross-sell initiatives to maximize revenue from existing clients.
Account Management:
- Facilitate the activation of online accounts for corporate clients.
- Ensure timely dissemination of product information to distributors.
Compliance and Coordination:
- Adhere to compliance norms as per organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and review data on market share and client portfolios regularly.
- Closely coordinate with Operations to follow up on pending documents.
Joint Investor Meetings:
- Participate in joint meetings with distributors to address investor needs and provide support where necessary.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in relationship management within the mutual fund or asset management industry.
- Strong understanding of mutual fund products and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
- Experience in managing and expanding AUM and client portfolios.
- Ability to effectively follow up on leads and convert them into clients.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and operational processes.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in finance, mutual funds, or investment management (e. , AMFI certification) are preferred
