Job Title : Senior Manager - Mining

Job Location: Gurgaon

Job Responsibilities :

- Support and promote standardised systems and processes for mine planning through the completion of regular packages of work relating to the Mine Engineering function such as mine design and scheduling and reconciliation of mining compliance.

- Provide Thiess projects with fit for purpose and timely mining engineering services in line with agreed scopes and deliverables under the mandate of the Thiess India Hub working mandate.

- Support the expansion of Thiess-global footprint through best practise and cost-effective outcomes for both internal and external stakeholders.

- Provide mentoring and guidance to mining graduates.

- Provide advice on technical risk in mine plans and potential mitigation strategies through the application of data driven results

- Ability to analyse each mining operation as a system (regardless of complexity) and determine the critical value drivers and devise a strategy which maximises return from both a Thiess and a Client (where possible) perspective. Ability to apply this analysis across the business concurrently.

- Domestic and International travel may be required

- Undertake visits to projects and engagement with project technical staff

- Raise the profile of Thiess technical capability with Client Senior Technical Personnel.
