About our Client : Our Client is a leading MNC in the Media sector. With an already strong but growing presence in India, currently they are looking for individuals to drive the Distribution & Syndication Business of the Company. For the same, they are looking to hire Senior Manager-Media Distribution & Syndication, based in Mumbai.

Job Description:

- Build and cultivate key relationships with free-to-air and pay television networks, new media and digital partners in India to advance business goals and ensure premiere position with customers.

- Support Sales Head to achieve results for the India market in line with fiscal targets.

- Maintain position as a premier distributor by ensuring highest levels of client servicing.

- Communicate effectively within all levels of the organization, including the preparation and presentation of timely and accurate information for management (including internal presentations and filtering avails based on content requirement).

- Work closely with other lines of business to accomplish common franchise objectives.

- Work closely with Finance and Legal to ensure smooth processing of all systems for all deals.

- Execution of sales strategy for TV program licensing (across entire portfolio) in all forms of TV windows.

- Working closely with the Sales head to formulate plans for new business models and deal renewals across new platforms for TV distribution. This includes New Media.

- Internally, to the team to ensure annual revenue targets are met and we open at least 3 new revenue streams.

- Externally, check agreements on all points before signing and action things based on the terms of the agreement to ensure there is no breach of contract.

- Negotiate and close deals on the best terms for the company.

- To be the first one on any revenue stream and build the company as a cutting edge innovator for new revenue deals.

The Successful Candidate:

- Successful applicant will be an MBA from Tier 1 B-school with at least 7-9 years of post qualifications experience.

- The individual must have relevant work experience from the Media Industry, Telecom, & FMCG sector. Preferred candidate would be someone based in Mumbai.
