Theme of the Role:
- The position is responsible for planning, development & communication for all New product and brand launches within the Foods brand portfolio and brand communication for existing & new brands; this role will include the accountability and ownership of (1 to 100) Go to market road map & strategy, 0-to-1 projects for new product launches, marketing communication, category share improvement, brand building & consumer awareness efforts for all the brands.
Key Deliverables :
- Creating & Implementing - Developing from scratch, a slew of new brands to cater to emerging new opportunities in the Indian FMCG landscape. Several of these brands will be marketed not just in the Group's retail outlets but also in the general trade, to achieve their full potential.
- Implementing comprehensive marketing and communications plans that will build these brands into category leaders; and establish the organization as one of the country's top 3 players in the Indian packaged foods industry by 2020.
- Define and implement marketing plans for each brand to increase awareness, category share & build preference amongst the target consumers, customized for each sales channel.
- Planning & Budgeting - Achievement of financial objectives of brands in the incumbent's charge
- Implementation of short & long term plans and budgets for marketing; monitoring progress and evaluating performance of team
- Work with CMO to develop and maintain a strategic perspective based on marketplace for the FMCG Industry
- Take critical decisions on new brand & product opportunities from across COP Food segments (Centre of Plate)
- Communicating with stakeholders which helps them transform information into knowledge and learning.
- Take key decisions on BTL Spend across the spectrum of brands handled
- Budgeting as well as creative development and implementation
- Responsible for Above The Line marketing - Developing concept, strategy & campaign
- Responsible for Below The Line marketing - Planning Roadshows, Sampling, Visibility Improvement, Events & Exhibition
- Visual Merchandising & Shop floor Visibility Improvement in MT & GT
- Developing Clutter Breaking VM & Display Solutions
- Achievement of Brand Equity targets and other marketing/communication goals
- Digital & Ecommerce - Developing Digital Strategy for the brand, Building Properties & Campaigns to improve visibility & Drive sales
- Study current trends, market research, consumer insights, market intelligence, sales feedback and competition mapping and impact of marketing activities
