Role
- Will be expected to set the strategic direction and lay the foundation for the company's consumer growth business unit. As the head of the consumer-oriented business, the will be expected to lead strategy, execution and monitoring of revenue achievements and marketing campaigns. The will be expected to bring infectious dynamism, a can-do spirit and championship for the new revenue unit and will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:
- Be responsible and accountable for all consumer-related revenue streams and their corresponding monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Set value proposition and pricing of various packages and offerings. Monitor and manage economics overall and by individual units, for both short-term profitability and long-term sustainability
- Strategize, implement and manage a robust customer acquisition strategy, support by a keen zeal to understand our customer profile
- Create a rigorous, well-defined funnel strategy to ensure investment in customer acquisition is sharply focused on strong revenue conversions
- Optimize and monitor performance marketing campaigns, across creative, media buys and target segmentation, to drive highest ROIs possible
- Build and mentor a high-performance growth marketing team, and work in spirited collaboration with the heads of Product, Technology, Content and Brand to leverage the best of what the team has to offer
Functional Requirements
- 5+ years of demonstrated success in senior digital marketing and performance marketing roles in high-growth consumer internet companies
- Flair and strong ability to turn data-driven insights into actionable sales campaigns; and a solid understanding of the convergence of data, tech and creative messaging
- Insatiable curiosity and drive to stay at the leading edge of consumer internet and performance marketing trends
- Intuitive understanding and clear passion for social media channels: a true digital native
- Good to have: Experience in education and/or online learning/edtech
