Job Title - Sr. Manager/Manager - Technical Test (Automation, Performance Testing and Practice Management)

Function : IT Application Services

Reports to : Head - Testing

Role :

- Manage the Technical test function to deliver Automation and Performance scope across multiple project

- Define Technical Test strategy

- Drive the next level tools of automation and performance strategies into the Test Practice.

- Deliver Automation and Performance SME as part TCOE mission.

- Handled individual contributors having specialization in Automation and Performance.

- Strategize and operationalize technical deliveries for multiple projects under supervision

- Influence Automation and Performance business case for all test projects driving efficiency and adding value.

- Consultation/mentoring to the module leads and Test leads on technical test practices strategy and planning

- Liaison point for the stakeholders of the all test projects.

- Provide expert guidance and consultation to the stakeholders on Technical Testing Practices as and when needed

- People, Team Management, conflict resolution and Vendor Management

- Conducting Interviews and setting up training programs for project requirements

- Own test initiatives, create proposals and setup offshore delivery model

Technical Skills :

- Expertise in management of technical testing i.e. Automation/Performance teams.

- Specialist with hands on experience with one Automation tool such as Selenium, VSTS, Test Complete.

- Technical Test Consultation Expertise either in Automation or Performance

Domain Skills :

- Knowledge of Performance Testing

- Knowledge of Insurance and Reinsurance Broking application or EB.

General Skills :

- High degree of problem solving skills to resolve problems in a multi product/service environment.

- Strong Relationship building & customer focus.

- Ability to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.

- Excellent communication skills

Prior Experience - 12 - 16 yrs in Testing

Educational Qualifications - Bachelors or Masters.
