- SME on GAAP and should be able to have consultative meetings with auditors & CXOs.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Should have taken trainings on GAAP topics

- Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency/responsiveness

- Ability to professionally articulate standards in layman's language

- Strong presentation skills and ability to present GAAP standards to CXO level resources

- Intellectual curiosity to understand varied business scenarios and provide out of box solutions

- Ability to understand the requirements and apply GAAP knowledge to solve the problems

- Supervise, mentor and review queries ticketing system

- Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders

- Project manage the tasks by proactively highlighting any red flags

- Strong GAAP knowledge (US GAAP, IFRS etc.)

- Deep experience in international consolidations, translations etc.

- Should have written/assisted in drafting technical memos

- Should have worked on implementing new standards and led audits single handedly

- Should have experience in monitoring pronouncements, deciphering ASUs etc.

- Sound client communication and influencing skills

- Effectively led multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines

- Expert in PPT and presentation skills

- Experience from Big4 audit firms or MNCs)

- Experience in M&A

- Expert knowledge in GAAP

- Experience serving US clients is added advantage

- Trusted advisor to executive team regarding business decisions

- Consulting, private equity or venture capital experience (is an added advantage)
