Senior Manager/Manager - Indirect Procurement - KPO/BPO/IT/Telecom

Role : Sr.Manager / Manager - Indirect Procurement

Location : Pune

- Our Client is seeking an Indirect procurement professional for procuring various types of indirect material/ services, new vendor development for cost optimization

- In this capacity, the candidate will be based in Pune Office and will be acting as Category Manager for procurement of indirect material/ services for Pune Location / Unit.

- Managing procurement of indirect material/ services required for multiple clients

- Spend & vendor consolidation to optimize the savings

- Making annual rate contracts with suppliers

- Strong hands on experience in or other ERP systems (like Ariba, SAP, etc.)

- Interact with key customer stakeholders and work closely with them to identify areas of improvement.

- Offer creative solutions to support overall procurement program and achieve desired results.

Candidate Experience & Qualification :

- 10-15 years of Sourcing & Category Management experience out of which approx 80% should be in indirect sourcing

Preferred Qualifications :

- Should have strong experience in category planning, stakeholder management, global sourcing

- Very strong knowledge of suppliers in indirect categories

- Experience procuring various indirect material/ services

- Experience in new vendor development for indirect material/ services

- Proficiency with Excel & Power-point

- Process oriented with excellent communication, organization/time management and problem solving skills.

- Project management skills.

- Adaptable management style to conform to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers.

- Knowledge of procurement operations, ERP systems, transaction management a big plus

Prefer Candidates from IT / ITES / KPO / Telecom Industry.
