Job Description:
We are looking for a seasoned CPG Insights research leader (Nielsen POS and Panel experience), responsible for advancing Syndicated Research practice by providing consultative solutions to Segment CI teams (NAR, EUAU, ASLA) and developing associates to fine researchers.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead a Capability team : Segment focused insights team will roll up to this role and the incumbent will be responsible for overall leadership, talent development, skill advancement, engagement and retention of GIA talent on the team (~20 people)
Advance Research skills across the team : Foster learning mindset in the teams to advance research and story-telling skills across multiple sources of data to answer business questions
Advance new capabilities : Partner with Global GIA lead to grow and develop newer capabilities under Global GIA umbrella like Omni-channel, new sources of data, segment level analysis, etc.
Stakeholder Management in a matrix organization : Build relationships with key CI leaders across Segments, identify new opportunities of partnership, scale best practices and individually contribute to some key segment level priorities
Identify and elevate cross segment opportunities: Leverage global scope of role to identify common projects/themes and assist with cross-pollination of best practices and learning
Relevant Consumer Insights Experience : 9 years + (Sr Manager) / 7+ Years (Manager)
- Solid and hands-on- syndicated experience is a must (Nielsen POS and Panel Data)
- Strong experience on Nielsen tools like Answers on Desktop, Nielsen nitro etc.
Domain experience: CPG / FMCG Industry must
Prefer exposure to global markets & team leadership experience
