Senior Manager/Manager - Finance Operations - Life & Annuity Reinsurance

Salary Offered : 15-20 LPA

Basic and Essential Functions :

Key responsibilities :

Product Implementation:

- Actively participate in Life & Annuity product implementation team meetings

- Understand product and determine impact to Finance systems

- Adjust mappings to absorb new products

- TPA (Third Party Administration) Integration:

- Actively participate in TPA meetings

- Create test plans and perform testing

- Assist project team in the deployment/testing of any new admin systemActuarial Support :

- Be the lead from Financial Operations for Actuarial meetings

- Understand user requirements. Present options

- Determine impact analysis and approach to implement into the Financial systems

- Be very familiar with processes of the Reserving, DAC, and blue book reporting of the Actuarial team to partner with them for process improvement

- Administer the Reporting Tool and ongoing reporting requirements

- Actively participate in audits to ensure compliance

- Provide assistance in training new or less experienced analysts, and assist in developing and maintaining training programs

Reinsurance :

- Be the lead from Financial Operations for reinsurance meetings

Education Requirements :

- Accountant/Actuary (part/fully qualified) with 5 - 9 years experience with life and annuity products knowledge

- Reinsurance certification and experience with reinsurance operations and accounting
