Senior Manager/Manager - Engineering Excellence - Manufacturing/FMCG

Job Summary:

The Engineering Excellence Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing engineering standards, strategy and strategic operational goals to meet and exceed business expectations for product development, quality, cost and delivery, maximizing efficiency, optimizing and driving engineering excellence.

Job Description:

- Develop best-in-class engineering standards and guidelines to aid different business process

- Support in creating an engineering vision and implementing best practices, strategies, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve business performance

- Ensure that engineering strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs

- Drive implementation of capital management planning and budgeting guidelines across Business

- Drive robust project review process, by ensuring information furnished is in line with guidelines

- Drive initiatives and implementation of various systems, technology interventions, IT tools for project portfolio management

- Provide guidance to users for all project data reporting platforms

- Provide insights to the leadership teams and stakeholders on critical/important projects; report and analyze all project management metrics

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance

Requirements:

- Engineering graduate with at least 10 years of experience in building engineering standards preferably from large manufacturing, FMCG, consulting or engineering organizations

- Experience in preparing/drafting Capex management framework, coordinate with various stakeholders and help preparing guidelines

- Demonstrable experience of leading an engineering function with a proven track record in strategic engineering leadership delivering effective engineering strategies, policies, processes and systems

- Experience in project planning and management, driving technology/digital interventions preferred
