Senior Manager/Manager - Actuary - Health Insurance

We are looking for positions in Actuaries with a leading Insurance organization at Bangalore / Pune

Experience : 5- 10 years experience with good exposure in Health Insurance with Strong knowledge of insurance business and Actuarial techniques EMBLEM, Radar, ResQ

Role & Responsibilities :

Computing and communicating the technical price for both Individual and Group Health Lines of business

Ownership of the Group Health pricing tool, with the objective of continuously improving it in terms of technical accuracy, functionality in easing and improving processing and utilization rate

Interacting with underwriters and product developers to support in arriving at a profitable and marketable tariff for individual health products.

Improving the actuarial teams technical understanding of the risk cost in Health insurance;

taking into account anti-selection, underwriting guidelines, moral hazard/ high utilization rates, previous medical history / claims side information, product features, medical inflation trends etc.

Strong knowledge of insurance business and Actuarial techniques
