Senior Manager - Logistics (E-commerce)

- Managing PAN India multi-modal transport operations involving Delivery centers / sort centers / customer locations etc.

- Designing end to end, cost effective transport solutions for finished products (both solid & liquid/ perishable or non perishable) using various modes of transport .

- Managing entire procurement cycle i.e. vendor selection, freight negotiations, vendor empanelment.

- Preparing annual freight budget for multi-modal department.

- Monitoring day to day multi-modal operations, involving coordination with product teams, plants, regional offices, warehouses & service providers for seamless movements.

- Monitoring service provider's performance by daily reports, site visits, meetings with their staff to improve transit time & reduce total logistics cost.

- Completing and filing compliance documentation as per Co's audit team requirement.

- Resolving customers & vendor's claims, vendor bill certification & settlement
