Senior Manager - Legal - LLB - Investment Firm

- Provide support for day to day legal needs of Fidelity's commercial team

- Develop and administer templates for commercial contracts.

- Review non-standard / contracts based on vendors paper as required

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating:

Software license/development contracts (SaaS engagements)

IT services contracts (e.g., professional / consultancy services)

IT infrastructure contracts (e.g., Telecom, Cloud and hosting agreements)

Property fit-out contracts

Hardware purchase and leasing contracts

- Evaluate software license compliance issues, including open source software and copyright

- Assist commercial and business team(s) in RFI/RFQ/RFP process/tendering

- Evaluate legal and compliance issues, such as data protection, privacy, common law, civil law, taxation, TUPE, risk analysis, ABC/FCPA/anti bribery, relating to cross-border transactions

Experience and Qualifications Required

- Candidate must have an LLB degree with 8-13 years of post-qualification experience as in-house lawyer in a multinational company or a diversified domestic company with global presence

- Cross-border/international transactional experience in IT/ITES/BFSI domain is essential

- Appreciation for cultural differences within a multinational firm

- Prior international assignment, will be an added advantage

- Sound legal knowledge and common sense approach to legal issues
