Senior Manager - Legal & CS - Manufacturing

Role : Sr.Manager-Legal

Reporting Relation: Head Legal & Secretarial.

Location : Mumbai

Qualification : LLB+CS

This newly created position would work as a deputy to the Head Legal and Secretarial being responsible for providing expert legal advice and services to the manufacturing/supply chain and commercial functions in the organizations.

Responsibilities:

- Manage all legal work related to drafting and correctness of agreements & contracts with business partners, vendors, agencies.

- Provide expert advice and counsel to functions of Supply chain, sales and marketing on key statutory requirements.

- Compliances: Factory/industrial compliances. including updates on new amendments on acts, judgments etc that directly concerns a business situation faced.

- Supporting functional managers in dispute resolution with business partners or associates

- Setting up standard process and templates for legal documentation.

- Managing legal correspondence like legal notices and replies to legal notices.

- Supporting Head Legal &CS in managing day to day company affairs.

- Managing secretarial practices, representing boards, investor grievances, adherence to SEBI guidelines, minutes of meeting, agenda setting etc.

Education and Experience:

- A qualified "LLB+CS" from a reputed law college with at least 7 - 15 years of post-qualification, must have good understanding of "Companies ACT".

Experience.

- The candidate should be working in the legal department of a company which has both manufacturing and commercial organizations and in a consumer products Industry

- The ideal candidate should have worked in an Indian company which is listed

- The candidate must have very strong oral and written communication skills as well as leadership skills and ability to influence and ability to independently drive initiatives.
