Job description:
Must to have skills - We are looking for inhouse L&D manager and above profiles with moderate level experience in design and delivery of strategic initiatives of L&D programs & intervention preferably in area of Talent Development. Should have designed, delivered end to end sustained learning programs, business objectives programs, cultural transformation programs and organizational development programs. Experience with design & delivery of Leadership training programs are mandatory.
Important to have skills:
1. Swift communicator, with excellent business, soft and presentation skills
2. Certification in corporate training, or any relevant programs under learning and development interventions
3. This is Individual contributor role, however one needs to be at managerial level from last 3 to 4 years handling core corporate and business learning programs like OB, OD, Leadership training, Impact assessment, needs analysis, business need analysis etc
4. One needs to have advanced level experience in design, development and delivery of L&D programs including leadership training.
5. Should have designed, developed and delivered at least 8 to 10 end to end such interventions at business and corporate level.
Role & responsibilities:
- Reporting into the Director-HR, India, the role holder is responsible for leading the design, delivery, and evaluation of all learning initiatives for the India offices.
- This role will ensure that learning and development strategies are aligned with business objectives, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and enhance organizational performance
Brief Job Description:
- The role involves collaborating with senior leadership and various department heads to identify skill gaps and implement innovative solutions to develop talent at all levels.
- Design and deliver business skills courses aligned with the Firms objectives and strategy
- Lead the L&D function to support the offices growth by enhancing employee skills, performance, and leadership capabilities.
- Participation in the conceptualization and delivery of global learning interventions, working closely with the global academy team. Provide regional business professional perspectives to ensure the comprehensiveness of these programs.
- Facilitate leadership development programmes, presenting credibly to participants at all levels, including senior-level audiences
- Work closely with Head of the Departments, Team Managers, Business HR Partners and Global Academy team to assess learning and development needs and implement programmes that meet the objectives
- Partner with subject matter experts to create relevant content tailored to business needs.
- Ensure that new hires and current employees are learning new skills quickly and developing expertise in the relevant areas
- Introduce innovative learning methodologies, including digital learning platforms, coaching, mentoring, and experiential learning.
- Working with Procurement team to commission external training providers, whether for classroom courses or online courses.
- Partner with the Talent team and the HRBPs to ensure key talent is retained and developed.
- Coach mid or senior leaders to aid learning and development on an individual basis.
- Conduct follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
- Provide inputs in the training expense budgeting and forecasting. Track expenses and report as required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with qualifications in business, organizational development, instructional design, adult learning, multi-media technology AND Masters degree in business, HRD/OD. Should hold relevant certification in L&D
Experience:
- Experience in designing and delivering skills training on business skills in a classroom or face-to-face basis for people at all levels within an organization. A compelling presenter to any level of audience with a very high level of communication skills.
- Experience in delivering skills training by means of on-line webinars and assisting others to deliver by this method.
- A track record of consulting effectively at all levels about learning interventions of all types, whether formal or informal.
- Experience in working within a professional service firm is also desirable
Knowledge:
- Strong and up-to-date knowledge of skills related theory and methods of learning. You will be seen as an expert in these skills by the business.
- You will have a good level of technical knowledge around the functioning of Learning Management Systems, in particular Cornerstone on Demand, would be desirable.
- A good knowledge of online business skills content and how it might be used
- You will have a good knowledge of MS Office and be open to learning new systems.
