The Knowledge Management (Senior) Manager will fulfill an integral role at understanding business priorities and identifying knowledge-sharing solutions that enable consistent, efficient, successful client business development and project delivery globally and across functional groups.
1. Strategic Support & Business Partnership:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to set a clear strategy for knowledge-sharing for efficient business development and project delivery
- Partner with sr. management, business unit leaders, and staff to identify opportunities and priorities to capture, preserve, synthesize, and disseminate knowledge more effectively
- Drive innovation in knowledge management approach, including technology enhancements and automations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of processes and knowledge transfer
2. Knowledge Synthesis & Secondary Research Support:
- Deliver targeted insights for innovative, industry-leading projects using internal knowledge and external information sources.
- Understand project requirements and build bespoke solutions, through in depth understanding of market landscape and available research resources to inform client business questions
- Lead a team in developing an understanding of key aspects of the life sciences market in order to interpret, summarize and draw inferences from clinical and research sources; help team build expertise in review of secondary/competitive intelligence resources.
3. Content Curation & Management
- Maintain and improve upon Knowledge and Information Management System (KIMS) to ensure an organized, up-to-date, inter-connected system that provides consulting teams with the information they need, when they need it
- Manage a team focused on curation of assets and synthesis of internal content and external research to support strategic priorities.
- Set and execute strategy to maintain content health, usability, and consistency of shared knowledge management sites.
- Work with business units to disseminate best practice across the organization through overseeing repositories of standard operating procedures, playbooks, and methodology knowledge
- Support enhancements to the platform to build a more sustainable, scalable knowledge management system architecture
- Facilitate the creation and distribution of usage metrics for internal sites and tools; work with leadership and site owners to develop and implement an action plan based on results.
